Short version: we store what you send the bot so it can coach you, and nothing gets sold or shown to advertisers.
Who is responsible
myCalCoach is operated by Daniel. You can reach the operator through the bot at any time.
What we store
- Your Telegram user ID and display name
- Profile details you give during setup: goals, height, weight, age, activity level
- Meals, weights, workouts and the messages you send the bot
- Food photos and body progress photos you upload
- Voice notes, which are transcribed to text
- Health data you choose to send from Apple Health (steps, active calories, sleep)
Why we store it
To estimate calories and macros, keep your daily totals, show charts and answer your questions. The legal basis is the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for health data, your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you give by sending it.
Who processes it
- Telegram, which delivers the messages
- Our cloud hosting and database provider, where data and photos are stored privately
- AI model providers that analyse photos, voice notes and text to produce estimates and replies
We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
As long as you use the service. Ask for deletion and we remove your account data and photos.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction or to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Send requests through the bot.
